VSA Minnesota’s final Arts Accessibility workshop

Before closing its doors at the end of September, VSA Minnesota, a “one-stop shop for arts access,” is sharing arts accessibility and disability awareness information at free workshops in five cities. Join Executive Director Craig Dunn from 1:00 to 4:00 PM to learn about accommodations for people with disabilities, disability etiquette and emerging trends in the field of arts access. Electronic resource lists, internet links and suggested contacts will be provided along with refreshments. The sessions target arts administrators, board members and anyone interested in access to the arts for people with disabilities.

TO REGISTER: please call 612-332-3888 or 800-801-3883 or email with:
(A) your name & organization,
(B) which workshop you will attend (Detroit Lakes, Grand Rapids), and
(C) any accommodations you need such as ASL interpreting, captioning or audio description.

Tuesday, August 20: Grand Rapids at the Reif Arts Center, 720 NW Conifer Drive.

Previous workshops were held in St. Paul, St. Cloud, Detroit Lakes and Rochester. All are made possible by a Minnesota State Arts Board services grant to assist VSA Minnesota in transferring its organizational knowledge to the Minnesota arts community.
