Interact to ‘Shine the Light on Abilities’

An interactive exhibition, “Shining the Light on Abilities,” will be presented by Interact Center for the Visual and Performing Arts on Sunday, January 28, from 2-4 PM at Beth El Synagogue, 5225 Barry St. W., St. Louis Park. It is part of Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month (JDAIM), a program of Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis. Interact artists with disabilities will perform and showcase their art pieces, original songs, acting vignettes and poignant personal stories. A dessert reception and sale of art pieces is part of the afternoon. The community event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required, as seating is limited. Go to https://www.jfcsmpls.org/event/jdaim2018/, or contact Stacey Spencer, 952-542-4845 or sspencer@jfcsmpls.org.
