Created by the company and Kevin Kling directed by Jeanne Calvit.
Back in the age of kings, queens and knights, there was one day per year when court jesters, village clowns and other fools could let loose, doing and saying things they normally never would to the nobles – until the festival was banned in the 1400's. Now, 'the fools' will reign once again as a cast of dozens of Interact actors with disabilities bring to life the Feast of Fools – a topsy-turvy tale of intrigue and redemption, set to a live score by a five-piece orchestra, and led by acclaimed storyteller and NPR contributor Kevin Kling. Opening night party ($65) includes show, appetizers and one drink ticket.

About the Show
Nov. 14 – Dec. 30, 2017
by Charles Dickens, adapted by Crispin Whittell, directed by Lauren Keating
A miserly and miserable man, Ebenezer Scrooge greets each Christmas with a “bah humbug,” until he is visited one Christmas Eve by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future. Through a restless night, the spirits show him happy memories from his past, cruel realities from the present and the grim future should he continue his cantankerous ways. This perennial favorite continues for its 43rd year at the Guthrie.

Reunite with Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice characters as they gather at the Darcy home for Christmas. When the middle Miss Bennet, Mary, unexpectedly encounters shy bookworm Arthur de Bourgh, she finds a kindred spirit and intellectual equal. But, since Arthur is a “single man in possession of a good fortune,” she’s hardly his only suitor. Mary must learn to be the heroine of her own story in this charming holiday romance.
