Artwork by Liza Sylvestre on display at Public Functionary

New visual art work by Minneapolis-based artist Liza Sylvestre is on display through January 9, 2016, at Public Functionary, a gallery at 1400 12th Avenue NE in Minneapolis. The show opened with an artist reception on December 12.
Liza was one of six recipients of this past year’s Emerging Artist Grants, a program conducted by VSA Minnesota with funding provided by the Jerome Foundation. An artist who is hard of hearing, Liza works not only in visual arts but also in video performance and sound manipulation.
Read more about Liza’s work on the Public Functionary Facebook page and learn more about her life in a recent City Pages article written about her.
