Artist Grants & Other Opportunities

Artists with disabilities in Minnesota have a variety of opportunities to pursue their work through grants from state, local and private sources. Here are some opportunities with upcoming deadlines. 2018 Emerging Artist Grant Application

The guidelines for applying for 2018 Emerging Artist Grants may be downloaded here, or requested by mail or email in various formats from VSA Minnesota. Applications must be received by December 1, 2017.

Metro ADA Access Grant Recipients 2010-18

This summary lists 67 Twin Cities arts groups that have been awarded 130 grants to increase access to the arts for people with disabilities, thanks to funding from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, which voters approved in 2008. In the eight and a half years through February 2018, VSA Minnesota has awarded $1,508,744 in ADA Access Improvement Grants for the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council. The next grant deadline is May 1, 2018.

2019 ADA Access Improvement Grants for Metro Arts Organizations

Apply for up to $15,000 for a project that will make your Minnesota nonprofit arts organization’s facilities or programs more accessible to people with disabilities.
