Apply for 2018 VSA International Young Soloists by Feb. 7

Each year outstanding young musicians with disabilities from around the world receive the VSA International Young Soloists Award, $2,000, and the opportunity to perform at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. This program is open to soloists and ensembles of any voice, instrument or genre including classical, jazz, hip-hop, rock, rap, indie, R&B/blues, and more. Watch the 2017 VSA International Young Soloists’ performance at the Kennedy Center.
Winners perform May 30 on the Millennium Stage in a concert to be live-streamed and archived on the Kennedy Center website. February 7, 2018, is submission deadline. Apply online. Musicians ages 15-20 may also apply for the National Symphony Orchestra Summer Music Institute.
