27 Years of the ADA

The outline of Minnesota's borders is crossed by a bold ADA, with "27 years protecting our rights" at the right side.

Wednesday, July 26 is the 27th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) becoming the law of the land. A number of Minnesota disability organizations are observing the event with a special event in St. Paul.

At 1:00 PM the public is invited to gather at the Minnesota History Center, 345 Kellogg Blvd. in St. Paul. At 1:30 the group will march to the State Capitol for a 2:30 rally in the Capitol Rotunda, Speakers and performers will include the band Working Dogs and rapper Young Ant (Antyenette Walker).
